As of midnight tonight (Monday 4th Jan) most of the UK will be back in lockdown for an unspecified period of time.
If this lockdown follows the same as last years, we will be receiving 3 - 4 times the usual level of orders and on top of the Christmas and New Year orders still to be processed it will mean that it may be minimum of 4 - 5 working days before an order reaches the top of the pile. Please also be aware that the carriers will be in the same position as us with increased workloads and that delivery timelines may slip as a result.
As we stated back in March we will be picking, packing and dispatching orders in the order they are received and will not be giving any priority to one order over another. Stock levels are currently at about 50% of what they were at the beginning of March 2020 and some items are dropping rapidly. Those items that are produced in house (paint, chemicals and whitemetal castings) we will be able to restock, although the lead times may be longer than normal. Items from outside suppliers (etches, brass castings and solder) are in most cases in reasonable supply and we will be working with our suppliers to ensure that we continue to have a reasonable if not good stock.
