Update 04.01.2021.

As of midnight tonight (Monday 4th Jan) most of the UK will be back in lockdown for an unspecified period of time.

If this lockdown follows the same as last years, we will be receiving 3 - 4 times the usual level of orders and on top of the Christmas and New Year orders still to be processed it will mean that it may be minimum of 4 - 5 working days before an order reaches the top of the pile. Please also be aware that the carriers will be in the same position as us with increased workloads and that delivery timelines may slip as a result.

As we stated back in March we will be picking, packing and dispatching orders in the order they are received and will not be giving any priority to one order over another. Stock levels are currently at about 50% of what they were at the beginning of March 2020 and some items are dropping rapidly. Those items that are produced in house (paint, chemicals and whitemetal castings) we will be able to restock, although the lead times may be longer than normal. Items from outside suppliers (etches, brass castings and solder) are in most cases in reasonable supply and we will be working with our suppliers to ensure that we continue to have a reasonable if not good stock.

Update: 01.12.2020

We will be closing down for Christmas and New Year at 16.00 on Friday 18th December 2020 and will reopen at 09.30 on Monday 4th January 2021.

We will make every effort to ensure that orders placed before 16.00 on the 18th are dispatched in time for Christmas.

Orders received during the shutdown period will be dispatched on a first placed first dispatched basis upon our return.

We would like to wish ALL of our customers a very happy, and safe, Christmas and sincerely wish that 2021 will prove to be a very happy, and normal, New Year.

Update: 18.10.2020

As of yesterday, Essex along with various other areas of the country has gone to tier two regulations.

It is our intention to continue to operate normally until we are forced to stop either by the law or by one of us showing symptoms.

It should be noted that the dispatch restrictions below are even more relevant as time goes on and the amount of items going 'out of stock' on a daily basis increase.

We are also, like a lot of retailers and manufacturers, experiencing delays from ALL suppliers but particularly those overseas.

We do not expect to see any form of physical shows or exhibitions until at least December 2021 and based on our current stock levels we would only be able to take about 10% of the stock we usually take to a show.

Whilst we are continuing to produce stock on a regular basis, the stock level will continue to decline and it WILL take longer to get orders out of the door.

Please bear with us, we are working as hard as we can to ensure that we dispatch orders as fast as possible, however, the current lead time on orders is between 2 and 5 days, if everything is in stock.

As of 20.00 hours on Friday 20th March 2020 no one at PPP has shown any signes of contracting coronavirus, HOWEVER, we are well aware that it could strike anyone of us without warning.

It is our intention to continue working and sending out orders either until this epidemic is over or the government forces us to stop working.

With more people staying at home and all shows cancelled until at least August, it has become clear over the last week that demand has risen at an unprecededed rate.
As such we are likely to have more and more 'stock issues' as items go out of stock before we have the chance to restock as part of normal production.

We have therefore taken the decision not to prioritise any orders and to Pick, Pack and Dispatch in the order that they placed - ie. a first come first served basis.

It should also be noted that during these difficult time the delivery services and couriers are under increased pressure and ALL deliveries may take longer from dispatch to delivery.
We are also recommending that, wherever possible you use one of the signed for services to ensure that they have to hand the package to you.

We will update this page as we have more information or if we have to stop working for any reason, we will also attempt to update the office answerphone, however, if we have to isolate or quarantine ourselves it is likely that we will not be able to change the message.

We would like to pass our best wishes to all our customers and hope to see as many as possible after this crisis is over.
