Flouro-silicone greases have a high retention (they do not fly off high speed gears) and low shear strength (low friction) together with a very high film strength for reduced wear and high bearing pressures. It is ideal for gears, particularly exposed ones and those where the surfaces slide, such as worm gears - so common in model railway transmissions.

Hot Tape

Carr's Hot Tape has been designed to hold parts together during soldering or whilst they are exposed to high
temperatures.

It is ideal for holding etched components together whilst soldering and it also has high electrical insulation properties.

Hot Tape can be used at temperatures of up to 300°C for prolonged periods or up to 400°C for short term use, as when soft soldering. It is quite suitable for use with Carr's 243°C High Temperature solder.

Hot Tape will start to char and disintegrate at about 750°C.

Sleeper Stain - 50ml

Sleeper Stain

Quantity: 50ml.

A waterbased dye, specially designed to produce a creosoted finish on wooden items such a sleepers, fence posts and panels and wooden structures.

Can either be dipped or brushed onto the surface to be dyed.

If dipped the longer the item is immersed the darker the finish.

Can be diluted to give a lighter finish or to give more control of the dying process.

Clean Equipment in warm water.
