Postage and Packaging.
The Minimum UK postage and Packaging charge is £3.25 for orders up to £10.00. This is due to the packaging
requirements of the Royal Mail.
Failure to comply with these regulations would result in us loosing our contract.
Orders Over £60.00 are post free (subject to exemptions below).
Exemptions to UK postage charges
Bob Moore Pens
These will be charged postage at £4.00 UNLESS other products to the
value of over £60.00 are
purchased at the same time.
Compressors
These have to be sent by courier and will be charged at
£15.00, regardless of what else is
ordered with them. A signature will be required.
1ltr, 2.5ltr & 5ltr cans of paint and or thinners
These have to be sent by courier and will be charged for
regardless of what else is ordered
with them. A signature will be required. Prices for large quantities can be supplied on request.
Postage to Northern Ireland and the Offshore Islands will be charged £1.20 on top of any other charges.
The Finishing Touch and Livery Data sheets are usually sent separately from paint etc. and are charged at £3.25 for up to 3 items..
Postage on All Overseas orders will be charged at cost plus £1.00 for packaging
The following items cannot be shipped overseas:-
Aerosols
Thinners (PQ2, PQ8, PQ9, PQ10)
Solvents (PQ17, PQ18, PQ19, PQ22, PQ32)
2 Part and 2 Pack Etch Primers (PQ23, PQ30, PQ31, PQ32).
Delivery
Whilst we make every effort to dispatch orders the same day they are received, this is not always possible.
Most Orders are dispatched by Royal Mail First Class post the Morning after they have been Invoiced.
Customers who wish to have items posted by either 'Royal Mail Signed For' or 'Royal Mail Special Delivery' may do so
subject to paying the current price for the service plus £1.00 packaging. Dispatch will be the Morning after Invoicing.
Customers who wish to have items posted by either 'Royal Mail Signed For' or 'Royal Mail Special Delivery' on the
day they place the order will be charged a £5.00 charge on top of the P & P charges, to cover the cost of travel to the nearest Post Office.
Overseas Orders are usually dispatched once a week either on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday depending on the number of
parcels to be posted.
Overseas Customers may request orders to be sent by 'Royal Mail International Signed For', this gives the protection of registered post
and a signature on delivery. Cost will depend on the weight, value and destination of the goods.
As an example, a letter weighing less than 100 grams sent to the USA and valued at £150 cost about £7.00 (Feb 2008 price)
Items Out of Stock and Back Orders
Whilst we attempt to keep the more popular items in stock at all times, we will occasionally get caught out.
Less popular items are often only produced to order.
Limited Production (LP) items are only produced in small batches as time permits.

Livery Data Sheets are normally produced to order and a minimum of 2 weeks should be allowed for delivery.
UNLESS you specifically instruct us we will hold any order waiting for out of stock or back ordered items.
Returns
Unwanted goods may be returned, at your expense, within 3 days of receipt, providing that they have not been opened or tampered
with in any way. Postage charges will not be refunded and we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee not exceeding 20%

before returning any goods.
For your safety ensure that you get a proof of posting from the Post Office.
Goods supplied in error
Everyone makes mistakes, and we are no exception.
Firstly if we have sent something in error we are sorry
Secondly please contact us on 01268 730549 (Normally Mon - Fri 10.00 - 16.00), or email us
before returning any goods.
Package the goods to be returned, using the original packaging and return it to us at Phoenix Precision Paints Ltd, PO Box 8238
Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 7WY.
We will exchange the item, refund the postage (up to the 1st Class maximum for the package weight) and return the correct item to you.
For your safety ensure that you get a proof of posting from the Post Office. Without a proof of posting neither the Royal Mail or
ourselves will be able to entertain a claim for loss.

Name and address details may be held on computer or computer disks.
Credit card details are securely shredded as soon as the details have been processed.
Neither Phoenix Precision Paints Ltd. its subsidiaries, partners or any of their staff will any disclose information
regarding private customers to any third party. We reserve the right to pass on such information regarding Bone Fide Trade customers as we
determine may be beneficial to either party.
Legal Bits
Value Added Tax (VAT)
All prices on this site contain VAT at 17.5%.
It is a legal requirement that VAT is charged on all goods and services supplied
to an address within the member states of the
European Union. This includes postage and packaging.
Goods supplied to a Bone Fide address outside the European Union will have the VAT deducted (where applicable) at the time of invoicing.
PLEASE do not ask us to break the law by not charging you VAT, we are legally bound to report you !!!!
Regardless of our personal feeling about VAT.
Nothing on this site should be taken as contituting an legal offer to sell under English Law, we reserve the right to refuse to sell any item to any person.
We reserve the right to change prices and or specification without further notice.
Prices charged will be those ruling at the time of dispatch.
